Scholarships

To apply for an Alumni Association scholarship, students need to visit the the Alumni Association Scholarship Application. Please review the list a requirements for each scholarship below to determine your eligibility. If you‘re unsure which, if any, scholarships you qualify for, please email Alumni@ColumbusState.edu. The Alumni Association Board of Directors has a Scholarship Committee which reviews applications and interviews applicants. All awards will be for the next academic year. For example, if you apply in January 2024 for a scholarship, it will be for the 2024-2025 academic year. All applications are due by March 15th.

Charles R. Eason Book Scholarship

Undergraduate/Graduate Eligible Must have a 3.0 GPA and maintain a 3.0 GPA average to qualify and retain $500 per academic year.

Alumni Scholarship

This scholarship is available to CSU Graduates (applicants must have completed an associates, bachelors, or master's degree at Columbus State University). Applicants must be admitted to a degree program and have a 3.0 GPA. Preference will be given to active donors to Columbus State University. This scholarship is $1,500 per academic year.

Roy Tanner Scholarship

The recipient must be an adult re-entry student, according to the university's definition of adult re-entry (a student returning to college five or more years after graduation from high school). The recipient need not be in the adult re-entry program. Applicants must have completed the equivalent of 30 semester hours of college study, with at least the equivalent of nine hours completed at Columbus State University. $1,000 per academic year.

Dominador H. Manio, Jr. CSU Alumni Past Presidents Scholarship

This award was given generously by Dominador and Genie Manio in honor of Mr. Manio's years of service to the CSU Alumni Association and in honor of the service of other Past Presidents of the CSU Alumni Association. It is awarded to an undergraduate students with a 3.0 GPA. Preference is given to students majoring in education or students who are military or military-affiliated.
