About the Program
Are you a certified educator looking to expand your impact beyond the classroom? Consider
the Master of Education (M.Ed.) program in Teacher Leadership at Columbus State University.
This program is designed to enhance your teaching skills while preparing you for leadership roles within your school community. Through a blend of theoretical learning and practical experiences, you'll gain expertise in areas such as data-driven decision making, leading professional learning communities, and collaborating with families and the community.
With a 30-hour curriculum, including six credit hours of internship, this program provides hands-on experience in your own classroom under the guidance of experienced mentors. CSU's Department of Teacher Education, Leadership, and Counseling offers a supportive environment where you'll receive personalized attention from instructors dedicated to your success. Upon completion, you'll be eligible for a Georgia teaching certificate (S-5), indicating mastery in both teaching and leadership.
