Biography

Dr. Garver is the Assistant Director of the Center of Online Learning. He has worked in the field of instructional design and project management since 2016. He supports faculty and administrators through:

  • managing online learning projects
  • providing training and consultations in best practices for online teaching
  • providing support for using CSU's Learning Management System (CougarVIEW)
  • analyzing online learning data to improve the center’s practices and effectiveness
  • managing the daily operations of the center

Prior to working full-time in online learning, he taught and conducted research in the field of teaching English as a second language. He has worked with English learners since 2007.
