Biography
I graduated at Columbus College in 1993 and worked at St. Francis then moved to Clearwater, Florida in 1994 and worked trauma/neuro ICU for 2 years then became a travel nurse in San Francisco, Ca. I took a full time position at UCSF for 5 years in the Neuro ICU. I was married to my husband in 1998 and we have 2 young adult children. We moved to St. Petersburg, FL in 2001 and lived there for 22 years and again I worked trauma/neuro ICU. In 2016 I obtained my master in nursing education at the University of South Florida and began my teaching career at Galen College of Nursing. I moved back to my home town of Columbus, Ga in Dec 2023 to be closer to my 95-year-old father and family. I love to be outdoors, paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking, swimming, but on the flip side I cozy up to a historical novel or watch a sci-fi movie from time to time. I am a big nerd and love fantasy, sci-fi, and some anime. Can't wait to meet you all.
