Biography

Dr. Chris LeMieux works as an Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership for Columbus State University. Since 2022, he has taught graduate-level educational leadership courses for M.Ed., Ed.S., and Ed.D. students. Dr. LeMieux has also served on multiple CSU committees including the CSU Doctoral Committee, Teacher Education, Leadership, and Counseling (TLC) Curriculum Committee, and Teaching and Learning Enrichment (TaLE) Committee. Dr. LeMieux currently serves as the program coordinator for CSU’s educational leadership program and chair of the TaLE committee.

On a personal note, Dr. LeMieux was a two-time finalist (2009 and 2014) for the GASSP’s Principal of the Year Award. Additionally, he was awarded the 2012 Georgia Association of Educational Leaders (GAEL)’s School Achievement Award and the 2005 Partners in Education Excellence in Community Leadership Harold Hammontree Leadership Award. Dr. LeMieux considers school improvement, coherent instruction, and educational leadership to be his professional passions. He is currently assisting Georgia schools, districts, and universities in their continuous improvement endeavors.
