Degree Program Course Requirements

For general degree requirements, see the College of Letters and Sciences and
the General Degree Requirements pages.

Select thirty hours in CRJU courses as approved by the department chair.
A grade of "C" or better is required in each CRJU course.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to:

  • Apply management theories and practices to render innovative solutions to organizational problems.
  • Address important issues in managing public service organizations effectively.
  • Apply principles, practices, and programs relevant to managing personnel in modern organizations.
  • Plan, prepare, and manage the financial resources of organizations.
  • Interpret and apply constitutional and statutory law and agency policy affecting individuals and organizational liability.
  • Develop the skills necessary to analyze and make decisions affecting the organization and service role (Georgia Law Enforcement Command College, 2011).
  • Communicate effectively by means of listening, speaking, reading, and writing in the diverse situations encountered as educated law enforcement officials.
