Bachelor of Arts in Art History
About the Program
Throughout history, the arts have played an integral role in communication, inspiration, and human expression. Art tells a story about the past, and teaches us valuable lessons about those who have come before us. It is essential to keep these stories alive and understand how works reflect the lives and cultures of the artists who made them.
In the Bachelor of Arts in Art History program at Columbus State University, you have the unique opportunity to learn from instructors who are passionate about where we have come from and where we are going in the creative space. As a CSU art student, you will study works from around the world, from pre-history to the present day, as well as explore other fields of study including fine arts, literature and history to science and mathematics as a means to understand works of art and their broader histories.
