Organizational Note
The club was founded in 1960 and according to the bylaws its objectives were “to engage in any educational, scientific, literary and historical pursuits . . . to promote and encourage protection and conservation of wild birds and other animals, plants, and all other natural resources through education and enlightened management in the area of the boundary of Western Georgia and Easter Alabama.”
Scope and Content
The collection includes the history of the club including by-laws, minutes of meetings and letters, the club bulletin and scrapbooks. 1960-1972 1 box (1 l.f.)
