Organizational Note
Alvin L. McLendon was one of the original members of the faculty of Columbus Community College when it opened in 1959. It was the predecessor to Columbus College, which in turn became Columbus State University.
Scope and Content
This collection includes political materials relating to Democratic Party activities in Georgia in the 1910s. Dr. McLendon found them among his father's papers.
