Muscogee County School District/Board of Education Photographs (SMC 93)

Scope and Content

There are 14 photos of the 1950s era school board and members of the school district administration into the 1960s. There is also one photo of Columbus Junior High taken in 1947, which later became the Academic Success Center. There is also a photo of 1320 3rd Avenue when it was the School District Office from 1952 to 1956 and then used as the Guidance and Testing Center.

Provenance

This small photograph collection came to the CSU Archives when the Columbus Public Library donated its archival collection to the CSU Archives in October, 2013.
