National Association of Purchasing Managers Scholarship Endowment
Purpose of Fund:
To provide student scholarships to students pursuing a course of study in Turner College. Recipients shall be known as Purchasing Manager’s Scholars.
Selection Process:
Recipients of scholarships awarded from this Fund shall be named by the Dean of Turner College or his/her designee, in consultation with the College’s Scholarship Committee.
- Pursuing a course of study business degree in Turner College
- Resident of the Chattahoochee Valley.
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
AWARD:
The number and amount of scholarships to be awarded shall be determined by the Dean or the Dean’s designee (scholarship committee).
REQUIREMENTS:
Purchasing Manager Scholars are required to come to the Turner College Dean’s office to for a photograph and an interview to be used in thank you letters to donors.
The OmegaFi Comuputer Science Scholarship
Purpose of Fund:
The purpose of this Fund shall be to provide a scholarship(s) to eligible Computer Science student(s) within the Turner College at Columbus State University. Recipients shall be known as OmegaFi Scholars.
Selection Process:
Recipients of scholarships awarded from this Fund shall be named by the Dean of Turner College or his/her designee, in consultation with the College’s Scholarship Committee.
- Be enrolled in the Turner College’s TSYS School of Computer Science as a junior or senior.
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Participate in an internship with OmegaFi each year awarded (minimum 15 hours/week and maximum 20 hours/week).
AWARD:
The number and amount of scholarships to be awarded shall be determined by the Dean or the Dean’s designee (scholarship committee).
REQUIREMENTS:

The COL (R) John E. Erickson and Cher Erickson Endowment
Purpose of Fund:
The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships for CSU students who are U.S. Military serving on active duty while pursuing full-time graduate degrees through the Turner College of Business . Students serving in the active U.S. Military National Guard and U.S. Military Reserves may also be considered. Recipients shall be known as Erickson Scholars.
Selection Process:
Recipients of scholarships awarded from this Fund shall be named by the Dean of Turner College or his/her designee, in consultation with the College’s Scholarship Committee.
- Enrolled in a graduate degree program in Turner College
- Active duty, military reserve, or national guard
AWARD:

The Frederick J. Dodelin Accounting Scholarship Endowment
Purpose of Fund:
The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships for students pursuing an accounting major Turner College. The scholarship should be awarded to a student(s) with a demonstrated financial need based on information provided to the University Office of Financial Aid. Recipients shall be known as Dodelin Scholars.
Selection Process:
Recipients of scholarships awarded from this Fund shall be named by the Dean of the Turner College or his/her designee, in consultation with the College’s Scholarship Committee.
- Accounting major

TSYS Endowment for Excellence
Purpose of Fund:
The purpose of this fund is to provide an Endowment Fund to support eligible computer science students. Recipients shall be known as the TSYS Cybersecurity Scholars.
Selection Process:
Recipients of scholarships awarded from this Fund shall be named by the Dean of the Turner College or his/her designee, in consultation with the College’s Scholarship Committee.
- Major in the TSYS School of Computer Science.
- Criteria may include financial need and campus/community involvement.
- GPA-min. 3.0
AWARD:
The number and amount of scholarships to be awarded shall be determined by the Dean or the Dean’s designee (scholarship committee). Each scholarship is for one academic year. Prior recipients are not disqualified from consideration for this scholarship during subsequent years.

The Georgia Power Foundation Scholarship Endowment
Purpose of Fund:
The purpose of this fund is to provide an Endowment Fund to support eligible College of Letters and Sciences and Turner College students. Recipients shall be known as Georgia Power Scholars.
Selection Process:
Recipients of scholarships awarded from this Fund shall be named by the Dean of Turner College or his/her designee, in consultation with the College’s Scholarship Committee Scholarship Committee.
- enrolled full-time
- majoring in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) field or a program within the Turner College of Business & Technology.
- minimum GPA of 2.5
- exhibit a financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid.
- Preference may be given to students who are/have matriculated from Columbus Technical College.
AWARD:
The number and amount of scholarships to be awarded shall be determined by the Dean or the Dean’s designee (scholarship committee). Each scholarship is for one academic year. Prior recipients are not disqualified from consideration for this scholarship during subsequent years.

Judge John S. Averill Memorial Fellowship
Purpose of Fund:
To provide student scholarships to: Graduate Students in Business, Arts and Sciences and Education. Recipients shall be known as Judge John S. Averill Scholars.

Recipients of scholarships awarded from this Fund shall be named by the Dean of Turner College or his/her designee, in consultation with the College’s Scholarship Committee.
- Must be a CSU graduate student accepted in a graduate business program

- Priority to students with Junior standing

Purpose of Fund:
The purpose of the Fund is to provide an endowment to support scholarships for students pursuing specific majors in Turner College at Columbus State University. shall be known as Cruzen Scholars.
Selection Process:
Recipients of scholarships awarded from the Fund shall be named by the Dean of Turner College or his/her designee, in consultation with the College Scholarship Committee.
- Accounting, Finance, Management, or Marketing majors
- Preference for if exhibit a financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid

To support qualified students enrolled within Turner College at Columbus State University. Recipients shall be known as Blanchard Scholars.

To support qualified students enrolled within Turner College at Columbus State University. Recipients shall be known as Hollis Scholars.

The Kevin David Knopf Memorial Scholarship Endowment
Purpose of Fund:
The purpose of this fund is to recruit high achieving and high potential students into undergraduate accounting program in Turner College.
Selection Process:
Recipients of scholarships awarded from this Fund shall be named by the Dean of Turner College or his/her designee, in consultation with the College’s Scholarship Committee.
- Enrolled in an accounting degree program
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 Scale
- Preference may be given to student residents of the Chattahoochee Valley region (AL &GA).
Recipients of this scholarship shall be known as Knopf Scholars.
AWARD:
The number and amount of scholarships to be awarded shall be determined by the Dean or the Dean’s designee (scholarship committee). Each scholarship is for one academic year. Prior recipients are not disqualified from consideration for this scholarship during subsequent years.

The Jay and Kellie Alexander Scholarship Endowment
Purpose of Fund:
The fund will provide scholarships that are to be used to recruit high achieving and high potential students into undergraduate business programs within the Turner College of Business. Recipients of this scholarship shall be known as Alexander Scholars.
Selection Process:
Recipients of scholarships awarded from this Fund shall be named by the Dean of Turner College or his/her designee, in consultation with the College’s Scholarship Committee.
- Enrolled in Turner College Preference may be given to current students who are current employees or family members of current Alexander Electric employees.
AWARD:
The number and amount of scholarships to be awarded shall be determined by the Dean or the Dean’s designee (scholarship committee). Each scholarship is for one academic year. Prior recipients are not disqualified from consideration for this scholarship during subsequent years.
REQUIREMENTS:

The Richard L. Holmes’ Alpha Phi Alpha Scholarship Endowment
Purpose of Fund:
This fund will be used to support eligible African American students enrolled in the Turner College of Business. Recipients of this scholarship shall be known as Richard L. Holmes’ Scholars.
Selection Process:
Recipients of scholarships awarded from this Fund shall be named by the Dean of Turner College or his/her designee, in consultation with the College’s Scholarship Committee.
- Enrolled in Turner College
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.5
- Preference to current students who are active members of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, then to any African American student that meets the above criteria.
AWARD:

W. L. Amos, Sr. Scholarship Endowment
Purpose of Fund:
To provide student scholarships to students pursuing a course of study with a concentration in Business. Recipients shall be known as W.L. Amos, Sr Scholars.
Selection Process:
Recipients of scholarships awarded from this Fund shall be named by the Dean of Turner College or his/her designee, in consultation with the College’s Scholarship Committee.
- Must be a CSU student in a business major
- At least half of current course hours earned from CSU.
- involvement in civic/international activities and/or working.
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5
AWARD:
The number and amount of scholarships to be awarded shall be determined by the Dean or the Dean’s designee (scholarship committee). The award of $1,000 max per student per year. If eligible students may receive multiple years of awards.
