Mildred Miller Fort Foundation Visiting Scholar in European Studies
The late Mrs. Mildred Miller Fort provided generous support beginning in 2000 and her foundation continues this.Columbus State University has hosted distinguished visiting scholars to serve as the Mildred Miller Fort Foundation Visiting Scholar in European Studies.
Past visiting scholars include: Cathie Carmichael, David Wilcock, Michael Schulz, Reneo Lukic, Jeffrey Hill, Igor Kuzmin, Klas Borell, Maya Soboleva, Mario Kessler, Rebecca Pelan, and Zoltan Berenyi.

The Mildred Miller Fort Foundation Scholar serves at Columbus State University for one semester. The visiting scholar teaches two limited enrollment advanced classes during the semester and is involved in selected campus and community activities.
The call for applications is issued each September.
