Biography
Professor Mixon’s areas of interest are public choice, labor economics, industrial organization, and economic education. His research in these and other areas has appeared in the Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking, Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Economic Perspectives, Journal of Applied Econometrics, Public Choice, Economic Inquiry, Journal of Applied Statistics and the Southern Economic Journal, among others. He currently serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Economics & Finance Education. Prior to coming to CSU, Professor Mixon taught at Mercer University, Auburn University, and the University of Southern Mississippi.Academic Areas
