Biography
Dr. Jennifer VanSlander has over 20 years of experience in elementary education as a teacher, instructional coach, and school administrator. Throughout her career, she has held various positions in Title I schools in Oregon and Alabama, serving linguistically and culturally diverse communities. Dr. VanSlander has completed extensive graduate coursework in reading and ESOL instruction, and educational leadership. Additionally, she has engaged in numerous professional development institutes at the Teachers College of Columbia University, and received substantial training in Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and Social Emotional Learning (SEL).
