Biography
Jeanine Fittipaldi-Wert, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Health & Physical Education and Adapted Physical Education at Columbus State University. She has earned her doctorate from Auburn University, A.L., her bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education Teacher Certification from West Chester University, P.A., and her Masters degree in adapted physical education from SUNY Brockport, N.Y. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she is also the director of Camp Abilities Columbus, GA, which is a developmental sports camp for children with visual impairments. Awarded Educator of the Year by Students at Columbus State University 2015-2016 and the Mayor’s Award: “Educator of the Year 2014” for outstanding service in supporting people with disabilities.Academic Areas
