Housing Rates and Fees
The Department of Residence Life and Columbus State University strives to ensure that we are providing updated and affordable housing options for our students. Our housing rates include all utilities, such as water, electricity, high-speed internet, streaming services, and laundry, which saves cost for students compared to off-campus options. Our goal is always to provide a safe and secure living environment that is also valuable and convenient!
All housing and meal plan fees are priced per person / per semester. Please be aware that the rates and fees do not include the non-refundable $200 application fee and $50 activity fee that must be paid upon completing the housing application.

The following are the past cost of on-campus housing options at CSU. All housing and meal plan fees are priced per person / per semester.
Columbus State University offers a variety of meal plan options for residents who live on campus. Locations offered by Dining Services are All You Care to Eat locations which are located on the Main and RiverPark campuses, Chick-fil-A, Subway, Einstein’s, and several convenience locations called PODs. All residential students are required to have a meal plan, each of which provides swipes for meals and Cougar Cash.
Which dining options are available for each resident is based upon their student academic year classification and / or how many credit hours a student has completed. Please refer to the Meal Plan Policy (PDF) for additional information.

Housing term dates follow the Academic Calendar for the University. Please note, residents living on campus for the academic year (Fall through Spring) are not required to check out for holidays that classes are not in session, including winter break. Please be aware that students may be required to pay a fee to reside in during these periods outside of the term dates.
If students decided to reside on campus for the summer term, they must checkout or transfer to Summer Housing at the end of each Spring Semester. Residents are also encouraged to check out 24 hours after their last final.
