Thomas Bogue Slade Letters (SMC 71)
Biographical Note
Thomas Bogue Slade was born in 1800 and died in 1882. He was a Baptist minister and educator in women's institutions and college throughout the south. The Slade family and descendants lived in El Dorado, later re-named St. Elmo, in Columbus, Georgia until 1945.Scope and Content
