Biographical Note
Nathan Bussey was born on February 5, 1798 in Lincoln County,
Georgia and died on October 4, 1886 in Talbot County, Georgia. He
was a farmer in Talbot County. He married Lucy Anne Baugh
(1805-1861) in 1821 and they had eight children. In 1863 he married
again to Catherine R. Blackman.
Scope and Content
This collection consists of a photocopied typescript of a diary
kept by Nathan Bussey, Sr. The typescript was made by his
great-granddaughter, Mrs. L. W. Cunningham (Annie Tom Bussey) in
1971.
