What is the Range?

The Cyber Range is a virtual environment designed to immerse students in hyper-realistic simulated attacks, or as we call it live-fire exercises. Engaging in live-fire exercises offers the closest experience to a real-world incident. The scenario is a collection of activities to disrupt the availability or cause loss of critical information in the training network.

When can I use the range?

Prerequisite materials for the Cyber Range:

The student will find great success in completing ‘Intro to Splunk course, and the ‘Using Fields" course. When preparing to enter the range. Below are the course links and their descriptions.

The student will need to create an account using their CSU email and then register for the course. Afterwards, go to 'My Training' under your account (located at the first letter icon in the top right) and launch the course.
