MUSP 1355. Orchestral Ensemble Activities (0-4-1) MUSP 1355. Orchestral Ensemble Activities (0-4-1) Prerequisite: Approval of Instructor. Rehearsal and performance of orchestral and string ensemble literature. The course exists as a variety of ensembles: CSU Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, and String Ensembles (of varying instrumentation: String Quartet, String Trio, etc.). Open to all students on an audition basis. The repertoire provides experience of a variety of musical styles. May be repeated for credit.
MUSP 1356. Vocal Ensemble Activities (0-4-1) Prerequisite: Approval of Instructor. Rehearsal and performance of choral and operatic ensemble literature. The course exists as a variety of ensembles: Civic Chorale, University Singers, Opera Chorus, and Vocal Ensemble (of varying voicings). Open to all students on an audition basis. The repertoire provides experience of a variety of musical styles and types. May be repeated for credit.

The course exists as a variety of ensembles: CSU Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Chamber Winds, Symphonic Band, and Instrumental Ensembles (of varying instrumentations: Woodwind Quintet, Brass Quintet, etc.). Open to all students on an audition basis. The repertoire is carefully selected to provide a variety of musical experience from the traditional to the historical, to the cutting-edge of contemporary art and popular music. May be repeated for credit.

MUSP 4305. Accompanying (0-2-1) Accompanying, accompanying techniques, and practical application of them. For keyboard majors who wish to be trained as accompanists. May be repeated for credit.
